October 22
The police department performed a building security check at Booster Field.
A police officer was dispatched to West Main Street for a report of a suicidal individual.  The officer spoke with a man and woman in the Casey’s parking lot.  Emergency medical services arrived and also spoke with the man and woman.  Both individuals decided to seek their own medical attention.
911 Dispatch informed the police department of a be on the lookout report for a wrong way driver travelling northbound in the southbound lane of US Highway 60/63 near South Junction.  Several attempts to locate the vehicle were made, but the vehicle was not found. 
The police department performed a wellbeing check, requested by 911 Dispatch.  A man was concerned that his father-in-law was heading to his home with a gun.  Officers arrived and spoke with the man, then called the father-in-law, who stated there were no issues between them and there wouldn’t be a problem.  
October 23
Police officers went to the Casey’s as a first responder for a report of a young man with chest pain.  EMS arrived on scene and transported the man to Ozarks Medical Center.  
911 dispatch reported a vehicle had been disabled due to a deer strike on US Highway 60/63 near Peterbilt.  Howell County Sheriff’s Office requested Willow Springs police department on scene due to the location being so close to city limits.  Upon arrival, there were no injuries, and the officer remained at the scene until the tow truck arrived.  
October 24
The police department performed a building security check at the golf course
911 Dispatch reported a white Chevy Silverado pick up that exited US Highway 60/63 at Snappy Mart.  A reporting party stated that the vehicle was failing to stay in its lane.  Police officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
The police department received a report of a white dog running around the G & W Parking lot.  The dog was found and returned to its owner.
Animal Control received a complaint of a dog running around.  Upon arrival, Animal Control found the owner already had the dog back on their property.  
The police department received a report of people possibly taking pictures of the church on Drew St.  Police officers went to the church but did not find anyone. 
October 25
The police department was requested to perform a wellbeing check on a man walking on Burnham Rd.  Officers went and spoke to the man who had walked to Love’s.  He stated he did not need any assistance. 
Police officers were sent to a residence on North Grand St. for a 911 hang up call.  Officers found children were playing with an old cell phone. 
A man approached an officer to report hearing a gunshot on Main St.  The man further stated he saw an individual walking down the street and enter the apartments just west of O’Reilly Automotive.  The officer looked into the area, but did not see any damage or disturbance.  
October 26
The police department provided a funeral escort to southbound US Highway 63 to the Howell Memorial Cemetery. 
The police department received a report of a missing 12-year-old boy.  While searching the area, the police officers were told the boy had been located.  
Police officers were dispatched to the Comfort Inn for a report of a man causing a disturbance.  Upon arrival, the officers spoke to the man, who was upset about not being able to get a room.  The officers gave the man a courtesy ride. 
October 28
Animal Control was called to a residence for a dog being tied up and stuck in the rain with no food or water.  Upon arrival, Animal Control spoke to the reporting party who had untied the dog to allow it to get out of the rain.  Animal Control went to look at the dog, which had food and water and enough rope to get to its dog house.
