Calls for Service
November 12
911 Dispatch requested an officer respond to Lance Ln. for medical assistance.  A woman at the residence stated that her husband had trashed their house. The officer spoke with the residents further and discovered nothing criminal had occurred.  Emergency Medical Services arrived on scene and talked with them as well.  
November 13
A police officer responded to a one-car accident involving a deer on DD Highway near the airport. 
The police department received a report of a careless and imprudent driver on U.S. Highway 60. 
November 14
A police officer was dispatched to Lance Ln. for a domestic disturbance.  The officer arrived at the residence and spoke with the man and his wife.  It appeared that the situation had calmed before the officer arrived.  The wife stated she called the police because her husband was yelling at her and wasn’t making any sense.  The officer advised them to stay in separate rooms the rest of the night.  
November 15
The police department received a call that a man was enroute to the station in a white GMC pickup.  The man had severely cut his leg while skinning a deer.  An ambulance arrived to treat him and he was transported to the hospital by private vehicle. 
The police department received a report of a careless and imprudent driver in a brown Buick on Third St.  Police officers were unable to locate the vehicle. 
November 16
The Electric Department found a Samsung cellular phone across from Casey’s and turned it into the police department. 
The police department performed a building security check at the golf course. 
Police officers responded to a report of property damage.  The officers spoke with a man who stated two of his window screens had been damaged the night before.  The officers took pictures of the damage and left the man a statement form to fill out. 
While on general patrol, an officer observed a Coastal Energy Semi-Truck with its cab light left on.  911 dispatch was able to contact the company and have an employee turn the light off. 
November 17
A police officer assisted Willow Springs Ambulance for an elderly patient that had fallen and hit her head.  The woman was transported by Emergency Medical Services.  
The police department received a report of a natural death on East Main St. 
The police department performed a building security check at the golf course. 
November 18
911 Dispatch requested officers perform a wellbeing check on Fourth St. for a static call to 911.  The man at the address said he doesn’t know how this keeps happening since he does not have a phone. 
The police department received a report of an open door on a residence.  A neighbor informed police officers that the people had moved out, or were in the process of moving out.  The officers checked inside the house and did not find anything unusual.
