February 5
A reporting party called the police station regarding two pit bulls on the property at Grow Smart who showed their teeth to employees and attacked another dog. 
Officer John Thomas initiated a traffic stop for an expired registration but issued a warning after learning the vehicle was newly purchased and was being transported. 
Officer Thomas responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked behind McIntosh Trucking. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with a man who was discovered to be an employee. 
Officer Thomas responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Tractor Supply parking lot. The vehicle was unable to be located. 
Officer Thomas initiated a traffic stop for expired plates. During the stop, the driver showed paperwork showing an inspection performed that day. The officer issued a warning. 
February 6
Officer Corey Clark was dispatched to Casey's to check the wellbeing of a male subject who was in the business’s restroom. Upon arrival, the man had exited the restroom and was at the register. Officer Clark spoke to the subject, and he was fine. 
Officer Dustin Smith responded to a report of theft at It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere. A male and female subject removed multiple bottles of alcohol from the shelf and exited the store without paying. The items stolen were estimated to have a value exceeding $60. Police reviewed security footage, and the investigation continues. 
February 7
Sergeant Mike Huffman responded to a report of an unresponsive female. Upon arrival, the woman was cool to the touch, and the officer could not detect a pulse. EMTs applied a cardiac monitor and detected no sinus rhythm. 
Officer Thomas was dispatched by 911 to check the wellbeing of a man on Springfield Rd. The officer made contact with the subject, and he was fine. 
February 8
Officer Thomas responded to a report of suspicious activity on Park St. On the scene, he observed nothing suspicious. 
February 9
Animal Control Officer Davy Hocking responded to a report of aggressive, trespassing dogs at an address on Sunshine Dr. He patrolled the area, but did not find the animals matching the description. 
February 11
Officer Paden Turnbull responded to a residence on State Route 76 regarding a suspicious boot print on the property. The residents reported observing suspicious activity and hearing people. Nothing was stolen or amiss, but the subjects requested extra patrol.
