Lady Bears win big over Hollister

The Willow Springs Lady Bears got a big win over the Hollister Lady Tigers on Thursday, Jan. 22. "In the game, the girls came out playing really hard and built an early lead. When we play that level of intensity and effort we are hard to beat," stated Head Coach David Cox. The win put the Lady Bears season at 11-5. For the game, Chloe Jones had 30 points followed by Paisley Crudgington, and Sophie Jackson with 11 points each and Alexis Sigman with 6 points. Coach Cox explained that during that game, Jones went over the 2,000th point mark for her career. "She is the first girl in school history to reach that mark and only the second player, boy or girl, to reach that mark in school history. I am very proud of her hard work."
